Children's Sunday Church

Learn about what your children do while you're in Sunday service.

Children's Ministry at Living Water

At Living Water our kids (infant through 4th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

The Well

Children ages Kindergarten - 4th grade go over to The Well during church service (10:30-11:30) and have a time of worship, craft/game, and lesson. Parents pick up their children at The Well when the service is over.

Q&A

WHAT ARE OUR SANITATION PROTOCOLS?

After room use, all surfaces and toys will be thoroughly disinfected, then air dried.

WHAT ARE HAND WASHING PROTOCOLS?

Kids and volunteers will wash hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering the classroom and after using the restroom. Hand soap will be used during bathroom times.

WHAT EXTRA PRECAUTIONS ARE IN PLACE TO PROTECT MY CHILDREN?

All activities will be done with safety in mind; all items will be sanitized after use, volunteers will encourage good hygiene practices, volunteers will be vigilant in identifying all children that look as if they are not feeling well and parents will be contacted.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD BECOMES ILL?

Volunteers will be vigilant in identifying all children that look as if they are not feeling well and parents will be contacted. Due to privacy concerns, we will not release the name of any child who becomes ill. If the illness is a communicable illness, defined by the health department, you will be contacted if necessary. We ask that parents contact the appropriate leader (Youth or Children’s pastor) if your child has become ill so we can take necessary precautions.

HOW DO WE GET CHECKED IN?

All children need to be checked in each week using the QR code posted at each classroom door. This allows us to contact parents if/when needed. Dry erase boards are also posted at each classroom at The Worship Center for parents to write their child’s name, this helps the teacher know everyone’s name. This should not be done in lieu of the QR check in.

HOW DO I KNOW WHERE MY CHILD GOES?

9am service-

Infants-PreK age children will go into the first classroom in the children’s hall. School age children will participate in worship with their parents.

10:30 service-

Infants-PreK age children will be in The Worship center classrooms. Parents can look at the age posted beside each door. If you are unsure, ask the volunteers at the Check In Desk, they will be more than happy to help.

School age children (K-4th grade) will go to The Well for Kid’s Church.

We do a church wide CHILD PROMOTION SUNDAY in June. If your child’s birthday is AFTER the first Sunday in June, he/she will stay in the class he/she is currently in until the next promotion. This helps ensure classroom sizes do not become too large.

WHEN DOES MY CHILD PROMOTE TO THE NEXT CLASS?

We do a church wide CHILD PROMOTION SUNDAY in June. If your child’s birthday is AFTER the first Sunday in June, he/she will stay in the class he/she is currently in until the next promotion. This helps ensure classroom sizes do not become too large.

HOW DO WE PICK UP CHILDREN?

Infants-PreK: Parents can go to the classroom to pick up their child. Please do not walk into the room. This can cause other children to become upset or run the risk of a child sneaking out. Please wait for the teacher to open the door and give you your child’s things.

Kid’s Church: Parents need to go pick up their child from the Well. The parking lot is very busy after church and can be dangerous for children to navigate across, because of this, only parents can pick up their children, not older siblings that need to walk across the parking lot.
